Teeth contouring Treatment
To Provide Comprehensive Quality Care
To reshape or contour teeth, a dentist gently removes tooth enamel with a laser or drill. According to the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), before the treatment is started, the dentist takes an X-ray of the teeth to check the location and amount of pulp. After that, the irregular areas are trimmed and excessively long teeth or altering badly shaped teeth are evened out for proper bite and alignment. The teeth are then smoothened and polished.
Reshaping may require just one 30-minute appointment with the dentist, depending on the extent of the work you need.
